I had been smelling something hot, and a day or two later awoke to a house at 55 degrees. I called my daughter to see who she had called when she had problems and she suggested W. C. Wright & Sons, Inc. I called at about 9AM the young man arrived at about noon. He was very professional, courteous, and nice. He wasted no time and went right to work. After cleaning the furnace and checking it out, he explained to me that the capacitor was not working properly and that it could have caused the blower and exhaust motors to have problems starting up and he would replace it and check the motors to see if they were operating at the proper amperage. He told me that the motors seemed to be working properly with the new capacitor. He told me the total for the service and repair was $99 and that I could call my card into the office. He brought in a detailed invoice.This was a very good experience and I would not hesitate to recommend this company.

Experienced 1st cold night with no heat.  I was bothered because the heating furnace was only seeing its 2nd winter since purchase and a freezing few days were predicted. I called early the next morning and Eddie with Wright and sons came within a few hours.  He immediately discovered the problem (a bird had gotten into the roof vent and into the motor fan causing blockage). He disassembled the motor casing, cleaned, and reattached.  My heating works very well now.  Thank you Eddie for being so professional and quick to diagnose the problem.

Charlie arrived on time very professional. He check the unit and a switch was jammed. He cleaned it and tested it several times. It worked with no problem . Since he was so knowledgable I asked him to look at the defrost panel in the unit as well. Back in Feb Hemphill came out and look at the unit- told me my defrost panel was shorted out and I had to replace it. Told me I really needed a new heater b/c the unit was old and the panel would be very hard to find and very expensive. I told them I couldn’t afford a new unit so to replace it. I paid my service fee and never heard back. Charlie looked at it, tested it, and said it was fine!! Just reset the furnace temp so it would kick on. So thankful Charlie is honest and knowledgable!

Control board in the blower stopped working on one of our units. Repairman came the day I called within the specified timeframe. After determining the problem he had to order the part but came the next day to install it. Very professional and explained everything he did.

W.C. Wright have us the best price and best option for an extended 10 year warranty on labor than any of the other companies that gave us prices. They arrived on time, worked hard (didn’t even stop to eat lunch), were friendly, and the system seems to be working great. They carried off all the old equipment and boxes from new equipment, however, after they left I swept up about 8 screws that were lying on the basement floor and on driveway that could have punctured our car tires had I not discovered them first. Overall, it was a very good experience.

Customer service answered call within 2 rings. Logged problem and said they would call when tech was en route. Called within 2 hrs. Showed up on-time. Cost effectively repaired systems everytime called. Even provided tips on how to properly maintain equipment and reduce future Maint.

Called to diagnose problems with faulty furnace. They came out promptly and found the problem and provided options on repair or replacement with more efficient unit.  I elected for replacement, they came back with new unit put it in and all went well. Have used this company for 20 yrs. and found then competent, reliable and fair, not cheap, but good value.

I called around 9 AM, and they were able to come by that afternoon. The rep (Matt) was punctual, professional, helpful and generally awesome. The pay schedule was amazingly fair. We expected to pay alot more than we did. Based on the operator and Matt’s friendliness and helpfulness, we had an amazing fast and productive visit. I don’t even think he was at our house more than 30 minutes. He completely and clearly explained what the issue was, how to fix it and how much it was going to cost. He even taught us about the kind of heater we have and went over some details that we were unaware of. I just can’t say enough things. If we ever have any heating or air issues, we are using these guys and calling immediately.

They were fantastic!!!!!!!!  VERY knowledgeable, courteous, friendly, efficient and cost effective.  Another company (Freedom) told us we needed a new unit immediately.  To prove this, they very strategically and obviously unplugged some wires that simply couldn’t have come loose on their own.  This was VERY easily recognized by the gentleman who came out.  He plugged them back in, did a normal service and maintenance on our unit and it’s worked perfectly since.  BEWARE OF FREEDOM!  I would have absolutely no reservations about calling this company again or referring them to a friend.

Technician was on time (actually waiting on me to show up).  He checked and found leak in evap coil.  This was expected as Upper AC unit was not blowing cold air.  Advised that Coil could not be replaced due to the switch to newer refrigerant now being utilized.  Will need to replace AC unit soon, hopefully not until Fall.

W C Wright has been doing my electrical, heating and air for approximately 8 years. My last service call was to do a checkup for heating in the fall. They are an outstanding company. I have no complaints. In fact I will be calling them soon for the spring/summer checkup.

Outstanding!  I had been putting off a winter service inspection, & then my heat stopped working.  Fortunately it was just the pilot light.  Matthew (ask for him, he is such a nice young man) explained to me how it worked.  W.C. Wright workers are NOT paid on commission so they are not motivated to sell you a new system unless you need it.  My friend’s AC went out this summer & they said all she needed was a little $20 part.
